NaPoWriMo Day 8: Building Blocks

Trust is like building a house

You place it in brick by brick

Cementing your relationship

If cracks appear, you fill in the gaps

And build a stronger foundation

Till it stands firm like a rock

Weathering every storm life

Throws at it.

But if it ever gets demolished,

that’s it. It can never be rebuilt in the same way.

  1. This is great. I get the feeling love is like a mirror a bowl made of clay. When it’s kept the bowl/mirror
Is shiny and unaware. And then when trust breaks these things shatter and you can glue them back to together, piece trust back, but something broken can never be perfect and new again.
